The gallbladder is not removed unless it's causing a problem. If stones have collected in the gallbladder and are causing pain or a blockage, then surgery is done. Also, if there is a bad infection in the gallbladder, it may need to be removed. If a tumor is growing there, surgery would be necessary. Hope this answers your query.

It depends ...if its because of a stone which is making secretion of gall bladded and pancreas to pool behind it by blocking way its not aserious if its because of a cancer it can be lethal... wish you health and hope its nothing big and serious
