What Causes Heart Pounding And Shortness Of Breath While Sitting?
Hi, the past couple of days i have either been sitting or laying down and my heart seems to pound harder, i get shortness of breath a headache and nausea. It hurts my chest more to the left side. I haven t been to a doctor yet due to the fact i don t want to sit in a medicenter
I believe it would be reasonable for you to be seen in a medical facility, either urgent care or a primary care office, as chest pain with shortness of breath could signal a variety of grave conditions and should not be ignored. Major dreaded causes such as infection (pneumonia), heart disease, clots in the lungs, etc are ruled out by history, physical exam and basic tests.
Hope that helps wish you the best,
