placenta is attached to umblical chord of baby. its position is to be observed. placenta is delivered after baby. if it is placed before baby then called placenta previa.this creat problem. if it is anteriorly placed then it is normal.

doctor1 MD

What is important is that placenta should be fundal ( in upper segment of uterus ). ANterior and posterior both are normal. Hence, your placental position is normal, so if there are no other complicating factors, there is no contraindication for normal delivery. All the best.
