Are There Any Invasive Treatments For The Piriformis Muscle With History Of Spinal Stenosis?

I am a 57 year old female non smoker. I am 5 feet 2 inches and weigh just under 11 stones. Until around 5 years ago I was a super fit athlete but my back has now put paid to all of that. I have already had 2 back surgeries for spinal stenosis at L4/5 right hand side the last being 2 years ago which was a laminectomy. Now my symptoms have moved to the left hand side of my back and a recent MRI showed ligamentum ligament bulging into the spinal canal. This causes severe pain when lying in bed, standing etc all down the back of my left leg and affects the piriformis muscle, I really do not want another operation. Are there any other non invasive treatments I could consider? As part of the spinal stenosis I have spondylolisthesis L4/5, bulging and degenerating discs, hypertrophic facet joints etc etc

I will advise you to do MRI spine
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

My patients get good relief with holistic approach like pranayama, yoga,. You can also start them.
