Took Pills To Get High. Feeling Sick, Tired, Hungry. Suggested High Lymphocyte, Low Segmented Neutrophil. Treatment?

Ok my 24 year old son took some type of pills 4 days ago to get high .the next day he started feeling sick tired very hungry .but losing weight. I took him to the er and the doctor said that his lymphocyte were very high and his segmented neutrophil was low but really diddint explain it to me . Asked me to take him to his doctor but we dont have medical insurance.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

An increase in lymphocytes and decrease in neutrophils suggests a chronic infection.
Lymphocytes and neutrophils are two types of white cells in blood . They are responsible for providing immunity against various infections.
The increase in lymphocytes is however, unrelated to the pill intake.
The increase in lymphocyte occurs over a period of time and is not acute in onset. The symptoms of losing weight, feeling sick and feeling sick need to be investigated.
So, you need some more investigations to know the cause of lymphocyte increase.
Consult your doctor for further work up.
