Hi, Melanoma is a serious disease. The seriousness depends upon the site (non operable) , more extent of spread / depth / increased age . These increases the seriousness. Presence of small patch over limbs are less serious comparative to melanoma of eye, choroid etc. Hope I have been helpful. Regards Dr.Deepika Patil
