Atenolol is a beta blocker drug used to control hyprtention, treat angina and dysrhythmia, also to reduce mortality post myocardial infarction. Let me know what for you are taking atenolol and if you are taking any other medication along with. Atenolol do cause lethargy and some tiredness but the dose you are taking is quite low dose as to cause much tiredness. So u go for routine investigations .

Strict control of blood pressure is needed. She needs 2d echo to rule out heart failure. She needs higher dose of diuretics. She may need centrally acting blood pressure lowering agent. So better to consult cardiologist and discuss all these. Please hit thanks.
