Hi,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Leucorrhoea refers to white discharge. Leucorrhoea can be physiological or pathological.

You have not mentioned anything about itching sensation, foul smelling discharge or local redness or pain abdomen. If you have any of the above symptoms the cause of Leucorrhoea could be a Genital Infection and you have to see a Gynecologist for treatment.

If you don't have any of the above systems. The reason could be excessive secretions due hormone imbalance. As you have mentioned that your periods are irregular , there is a chance that you might have hormonal imbalance.

Leucorrhoea is also seen in case of Anemia and malnutrition.

Dont worry. Leucorrhoea is not dangerous. But Consult gynecologist to get treated for the infection or hormone imbalance. You shall be back to normal health in no time.

Wish you all the very health

Hello
Thanks for your query.

I will try my best to provide you with best possible professional recommendations to your questions.

Leukorrhea is not a disease but the manifestation of ovulation or of a local or systemic disorder. It may occur at any age and affects almost all women at some time. The most common cause is infection of the lower reproduction tract; other causes are inflammation, estrogen or psychic stimulation and estrogen depletion.

It might be due to either but bacterial vaginosis, it typically produces a discharge that is thin and grayish-white in color. Second option that is available is vaginal yeast infection is usually associated with a thick, white vaginal discharge that may have the texture of cottage cheese. The discharge is generally odorless.

Treatment for vaginal discharge is dependent upon the exact cause. Treatment goals include both symptom relief and eradication of the infection.

The choice of medication depends upon the type of infection. Antibiotics and antifungal medications are the mainstay of treatment.

I advice you to go for swabs of the vaginal discharge for culture or for examination under a microscope to help define the cause of the vaginal discharge. Then can take the exact treatment.

Yet again, I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Regards
