Hello. Thank you for your question. This is a very common injury. Firstly, apply ice, 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off. Keep the foot elevated as best as you can and stay off it as often as possible. There will be swelling anyway, but this will help minimize it. The pain may be worse tomorrow. But you should notice a little improvement each day after that. If the pain worsens, consult your doctor.
