Thank you for query.there is no need to wean .it depends on your symptoms and other precautions taken.if due to gastritis or gastric reflux.It is due to junk foods spicy and carbonated drinks.Please avoid all these.Have short frequent meals.try with antacid chewables or syrups.also take H2 blockers like ranitidine.
