Is Water Fasting Helpful In Iron Deficiency Anemia ?

Hello, I am currently 16 years old with mild Iron deficiency anemia . I have heard wonders about water fasting, which includes the claim that it will also help to cure my condition. Is this true? Or will my anemia actually get worse if I choose to water fast?
