Stomach rumbling or borborygmi is sound produced by stomach and intestine contents due to peristalsis , intestine movements. It may happen due to inadequate digestion of food, aerophagia ( ingestion of air) due to fast eating, hunger - too much gap between meals or sometimes it may be due to colitis. But rumbling sound is a normal phenomenon, but it is creating trouble then consult doctor.
