Not if it has never been used, or only used by you. If it is someone else's needle then you need to go the nearest urgent care center and have the needle's "owner" tested to make sure they have not got blood-borne diseases like HIV, hepatitis B hepatitis C, etc... If it was on the street etc... again, you should seek medical help since taking medicines may decrease your risk of getting HIV etc..

Hi, Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Getting pricked by a used insulin needle will in no way cause diabetes to you. Remain assured about that.
