You can post pictures directly to doctors on Ask a Doctor. That will allow us understand and comment on it. But theoretically if there is no pain, redness and tenderness it most likely from hypertrophied scar / keloid than infection. Do post pictures and we can discuss further.

Thank you for query. If piercing is done in sterilised manner you need not worry. You can apply fucidin or silverex cream to prevent infection.if itching becomes more severe or with rash it may be some contact allergy.you may need mild topical steroid like hydrocortisone.
