No it will not show effects further. Once normal potassium level is achieved, symptoms of hypokalemia will start disappearing. It will disappear in 1-2 days after normalization of potassium level. Please hit thanks.

Hypokalemia can be corrected with supplements. However it has potential to cause dangerous arrhythmias which needs immediate medical attention. I hope he is monitored under intensive care setting.
