Hi, LDL and HDL can be improved by lifestyle changes with diet and exercise. In terms of exercise , at least 150 minutes of exercise should be done a week. Diet- decrease use of fried/fatty food (2)increase use of fruits and vegetables. At least 5 portions of fruits , vegetables should be used a day. (3)grains, whole wheat foods If exercise and diet not enough then medication may be needed.
