High Risk Pregnancy With Twins, Fibroids IUD, Anemic, Cough,no Fever Or Phlegm. What Is Wrong?

Hi my name is Isela I have a high risk pregnancy twins with fibroids IUD is still in there and am also anemic. The problem now is I have been coughing a lot I've never smoked no fever or phlegm I have had pneumonia before and almost every year I would get long infections except for the last two years. the cough gets really bad but it doesn't produce anything I took allergy meds take cough drops even nightquil but nothing seems to work. when I had lung infections the phlegm would have a weird nasty taste I strted coughing now and I get that same taste in my mouth but its just dry cough. I feel like theres something in my lungs but I just don't know what to do anymore. should I go to the hospital they already know me there I go atleast once a month with some kind of problem with this pregnancy.
I just haven't gone cus its like 80-90 miles from where I live and don't want to waste gas just to be sent back right away.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
You have a twin pregnancy with fibroid , anemia & cough . It is high risk pregnancy indeed.
You must visit your doctor as many times as needed & get your self treated.
I would advice you to consult a chest physician for your cough.A complete blood count, X ray chest ,some times sputum test is done to have an exact diagnosis. the specific treatment will cure you. These are to be followed by the preventive care doctor advices & healthy life style.
A good nutrition with iron, vitamins, calcium , respiratory exercises, moderate exercises along with the medicines prescribed by doctor at a regular pregnancy check up would improve your general condition.
With all these guide lines you will have no difficulty in getting child birth .
wish you all the best.
Thank you.
