Hi, as of now there is no complete cure for diabetes. The pancreas is the organ that controls the blood sugar levels and it does not function properly in diabetics. So the only thing that can be done is to keep the sugars low by diet control, exercise and drugs. If the sugars are normal then there is no problem at all. Hope this helped. Dr Nilajkumar
