Hepatitis B, C and D are transferred through sexual contact, infected blood, from mother to child or through family members who are already affected. To prevent such viruses from afflicting you, habits such as safe sex and maintaining your own toothbrushes, razors, needles, and nail clippers is advisable. Pregnant women should undergo Hepatitis B test. Best Liver Transplant Surgeons In India suggest taking Hepatitis B vaccination as the best prevention method especially if there are risk factors around.
