Hello, Gilbert's syndrome has no relation with gout. Thanks

doctor1 MD

Gilbert's syndrome is a milder form of hyperbilirubinemia, usually asymptomatic. The only precaution I will advise is that let all the physicians know about your condition whom you will be seeing as any kind of stress including medications can cause transient increase in bilirubin and subsequent jaundice. Other than that have lots of water, fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals.
