Does Paracetamol Causes Liver Failure ?
My son is 3 years old and has been give paracetamol for fever. I browsed through the internet and saw that paracetamol causes liver failure. I am really worried after reading it. What should I do? I know paracetamol is given for fever, but will this not affect his health in future. I am really worried. Kindly help me.

Oh then you should have been a doctor. Why do you have such doubts? Anything which is taken as per need does not cause any effect as per my knowledge. You should not worry.

Dont worry.Taking paracetemol once will not cause liver failure. In large doses , beyond the therapeutic levels , it can damage liver. This will not effect your child`s health in any way .I advise you to visit your pediatrician before giving your kid any medicine.Take care.

there is no other safe drug till now for fever to control.Still many drugs are there.Even than if paracatamol taken in combination of recemethinon is more safe. Do,nt be panic regarding side effect as drug controler decide at what amount is safe for body.
