Hi, Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. There is no need for specific highly restrictive diet. Avoid foods rich in purines such as offal (liver, pancreas, testes) , red meat,some fish and shellfish. Reduce alcohol intake, especially beer, which is high in purines. Vegetable articles e.g. lentils, spinach,peas,beans,cauliflower,mushrooms, oatmeal are rich sources of purines
