Flu Like Symptoms And Red Painful Bumps

I had flu like symptoms for a day that included severe chills/shaking and all over body pain with slight nausea and headache . Over the next two days it has become significatly less severe only presenting head pain and fatigue but I have now developed two red painful lumps at the bottom of my armpit as well as one on the inside of my gums that were not present the days before, should I consider getting an appointment and what could be the cause?

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
The painful lumps you are having are swollen lymph nodes and your fever was also most likely related to these. You must go for a checkup and preferably a FNAC of nodes to rule out any serious problem. It is not just a flu.
