Child Has Immature Teratoma. Sonogram Shows Abnormal Ovary. Problem?

Hi ,my daughter is 12 years old , she had immature teratoma (stage 1 grade2) last year .after operation ( total right overectomyher )doctor dicieded to conservative control without chemotherapy , and now after one year , pelvic and abdominal CT and AFP are normal but in her sonogram , left ovary has 14-15 follicul with maximum size 11mm and her ovarian saize is 12 cc. My daughter has not mens( period) yet but her puberty sign is beginning ( grow of hair in the axillar and pubic area and enlargement of breast), she has not any hirsutism and she is thin ,i am worry about size of left ovary . Is there any problem with this ovary , may she has pco in future?

greetings,

as you have told in your daughters case,the exact position of the left ovary can be made out from the detailed imaging studies.
its just not the size,but also the texture and other quality of the ovaries which matters.
so in a nutshell.you should consult your doctor who had earlier seen your daughter and try following up with him as he can physically examine and be able to decide in a better way.
