Welcome to healthcaremagic, Dengue fever is treated based on the symptoms of the patient, also called as symptomatic treatment. The usual treatment includes 1. Intravenous fluids to correct fluid balance 2. Paracetamol to reduce fever 3. Cold sponging 4. Bed rest 5. Platelet transfusion will be required in some patients. Recovery will occur in 5 to 6 days. Hello user, you are advised to have some antiallergic medicines to prevent itching, along with proper fluid treatment for dengue fever. You are advised to pay more attention in dengue fever rather than on the rash itself. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.
