Hi and thanks for using HCM. Best way to detect arythmia is Electrocardigram and Holter Electrocardigram. Echocardiogram assesses cardiac structural changes. Palpitations may be caused by anxiety disorder too. Hope this helps.

echo cardiogram is like an ultrasound. It does not show arrhythmia, that ecg and holter is for. It will show any coronary artery damage or any structural damage.
