What Type Of Exercises Should Be Avoided To Cure Achilles Tendonitis?

My doctor as tentatively diagnosed me with Achilles Tendonitis. I understand that tendonitis should heal itself but the symptoms I ve been suffering have been occurring for almost half a year. What should I be doing to help the healing process? I m also very active; I m a running and I work-out around 4 times a week, including weight training. What types of exercises should I avoid?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
While having and active chronic inflammation of the achilles tendon, it is best to avoid all the active exercises and the painful movements of the joint till the inflammation subsides.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
