Hello thanks for writing HCM before starting any treatment try to find out the cause for ear pain like cold or ear infections or wax in the ear canal regarding home remedies Apply warm compress on the painful ear Try painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen Don't try any ear drops or oils as they would be dangerous if you a perforation in your ear drum Talk with your doctor and decide takecare

Hi If you have cold and ear pain it can be due to blocked auditory tube. Infection also can result. Using nasal decongesants early will be helpful. If infection came already then antibiotics along with nasal decongesants will be needed. Thanks.
