HI Welcome to HCM Yes the blue patches on the skin could be due to Acitrom . ( They are due to bleeding under the skin ) . Though your INR is normal you will be given Acitrom to maintain a higher INR for example between 2-2.5 depending on the reason for which Acitrom was started . So I advise u to restart the Acitrom at half the dose you used to take and Repeat INR after 3 days again.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. This medication is an anticoagulant, prescribed for thromboembolic disorders. Acitrom must be taken as prescribed by your doctor after clinical examination. Usual prescribed oral varies from 1 to 10 mg per day, as indicated by PT/INR determinations. At 1.1 INR, your doctor know best how much to give you depending on your disease history.
