Hello! It depends on the level of lipids in your blood.For very high values of Total cholesterol,LDL cholesterol ,Triglycerides you may need a medication to lower them (like Atorvastatin). For moderate high values you may try first lifestyle modifications that include :eat healthy ,exercise every day at lest 40 min ,reduce your weight,drink plenty of water.If these fail you may need medication.
