Is Chlamydia Curable ?

I went the other day to planned parenthood and found out i have bacterial vaginitis and they gave me a 7 day medication. My fiance went to just get a check up and they called us a few days later and we both have chlaymedia. He was tested before and was clean, he is my first and only sex partner and since we ve been together I ve been his only sex partner. The first thing the lady told me was he cheated on me but we are always together and if you would meet us you would know we are faithful. Could we have something else? Is it easy to cure? Please help!!!

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Chlamydia is an easy infection to treat. You just need to take the full course of antibiotic recommended by your physician- both of you need treatment simultaneously. It is not necessary that your partner is unfaithful to you.The infection is a common problem.
