Hello dear, In amebiasis,diarrhea may alternate with constipation.The stool often has an offensive odor,and is mixed with blood and mucus.So the color may be normal to brown to dark red(very rare) depending upon the amount of bleeding and severity of inflammation. Hope you got cleared.Thank you.
