Could Clear, Watery Discharge During Pregnancy Indicate Leakage Of Amniotic Fluid?

Hi, I am 17 weeks pregnant and worried I am leaking Amniotic Fluid could this be the case? I got up the other day and had a small leak feeling I looked at it was watery and clear but only a small amount, I didnt have it for the rest of the day but do get discharge down there so am worried now for infections?

Hi and welcome to HCM.

If the discharge was white and mucus like consistency i would have not worried, but you had clear watery discharge. Thin, clear discharge, it can be hard for you to tell if it's just mucus or if you're leaking amniotic fluid.

I strongly suggest you to consult your doctor for this. Some times it may be pre term labor. So consult as soon as possible
