Hello, Swollen lymph nodes are indicative of some infection and not nicotine withdrawal. Thanks

doctor1 MD

If the nodes are swollen in the neck area, and you do smoke for a long time, throat/larynx cancer can be the reason. If you have swollen nodes in multiply locations, lymphoma can be the reason. If you know the reason of swollen lymph nodes and you want to smoke, it wont affect it.

SORRY. FOR THAT ANSWER. LYMPH NODE ENLARGEMENT USUALLY FELT DUE TO SECONDARY INFECTION(SMOKING WEED) OF EAR, NOSE,SINUSES OR THROAT(PHARYNGITIS OR TONSILLITIS), AS SUCH MARIJUNA DOES NOT CAUSE LYMPH NODE ENLARGEMENT. KINDLY EVALUATE WITH AN ENT SURGEON. ALL THE BEST.TAKE CARE.
