What Is The Cause For Light Headedness With A Clear Liquid Diet?

My 14 year old daughter was vomiting last week and felt light headed. I took her to her dr and she observed that my daughter had a red throat which she swabbed and tested for strep throat which was negative. So we were told to have a clear liquid diet over the weekend and see how she was feeling. She is still light headed at times when she stands up. What can cause that

Thanks for writing in.

Your daughter is in the growing age group and needs good nutrition. It might be that she has become weak and that is the reason for light headedness. Please make sure she gets adequate amounts of water and fluid. If possible please give her soft diet.
