How To Treat Blind Spot On Eye?
I have a grey colored horizontally shaped blind spot in my right eye. It is above the center of vision. If I cover up my left eye while reading, I cannot see the two lines of text immediately above the line that I am reading. I have noticed this blind spot six years ago and it has not changed shape or size since. I have an odd sensation of dull aching pain in my right eye.
As a side note, I am 44 years old with mild hypertension. I also have cervical nerve related neck, arm and hand pain on the right side only.
What caused this blindspot? Is there a cure? Will it get worse in the future? Please help, thanks.

This is not blind spot. this is a scotoma. Field is to be recorded and fundus examination to be done. Keep hyperventilation under control. Cervical problem should be treated. Use hard bed, neck color. Correct sitting posture. With invest i gation gradual loss of vision can be diagnosed. .
