Is Holter Monitor A Valid Teast For Long QT?

Hi. Im a 22 year old girl with history of fainting, episodes of tachycardia, dizzynnes, etc. I got a holter monitor and several ekgs on The ER, where i used to go trying to catch an episode of tachycardia. I have notice that at least 4 of my ekgs show a prolonged qt interval, and no one mention it. The same with a 24 h holter monitor. I just dont understand why The Dr dismissed it. Maybe its because i dont hace a family history of SCA. My lastre ekg showed: HR: 116 bpm RR: 517 P:78ms PQ: 94 ms QRS: 94ms QT: 346 QTC:487ms As you see, its a long qt and i just understand how even a cardiologist brush this off. Another thing, its a holter monitor a validez test for long qt?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the QT interval is very complex one, several methods are available to measure this more over if this is detected in any single lead then this would be insignificant, the best lead to see the is standard lead II and chest lead V5 and V6 the normal value in the female patient of this is 460ms and your rate here you gave is 346ms so this is a normal one and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps you have a nice day
