Does Bulimia Has An Effect On Kidneys?

Yes, I dealt with bulimia for almost 13 years I'm better now it seems one day at a time but I wondered if that could damage your kidneys cuz thru out the years I felt pain in my back by where they are, sometimes worse then other times but not constant, wondering if it could cause kidney disease. For sure going to get a blood n urine test done ASAP :/ really scarred me when I read about it. Ty

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the Bulimia is eating disorder does not have any pathology that could reach up to the kidney, if you have backache then the reason for this could be something else, even blood in urine is not the direct indication of kidney disease, no need to worry about this, just control your thoughts, hope this information helps you, have good day.
