Hi and Welcome to HCM, MRSA infection is treatable. Nothing to worry. It is resistant to some antibiotics. Take Bactrim and Vancomycin course. If you have pain due to skin boil incision and drainage can be done. Very important is take all medicines as prescribed by your doctor with full course, if not some of the staph bacteria may survive. Wish you speedy recovery, Thank you

Hello, In recurrent boils conditions like diabetes has to be ruled out. Ask your doctor for blood sugar tests. I would advice my patient to maintain good hygiene. A skin swap may be dine for culture and sensitivity to rule out resistant bacterial strains like MRSA.
