Bilateral Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Born With Extra Cervical Ribs. Blood Clots From Nostril. Reasons ?

I have bilateral neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome - born with two extra cervical ribs - had cervical rib and first rib plus brachial plexus reconstruction in July 2012 - in November 2012 I had some big blood clots in the right nostril - and again about an hour ago - a lot of bright red bood loss plus clot - is this connected to the TOs? - many thanks - Camilla - Milton Keynes

Hi
Bleeding from nosetril can be from littles area inside nose due to nose pricking, or it can be due to a hypertensive episode also.If it is from posterior side you have to rule out other causes.Better consult an ENT specialist and have a rhinoscopic examination.
hope this may help you
thanks
