How To Treat Kawasaki Disease?

kawasaki disease
yes I have kawasaki disease got it when I was 14. they just found out that i have two aneurysms in 1 blood clot in the left coronary. just move to Maryland can't find a good doctor. I have been getting cold spells lately write down to the bone. pains in lower right leg and chess area. the doctors I have been trying to go to act like they don't even know. if there's any way you can help me I would appreciate it.

hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Since Kawasaki is an autoimmune disease the best think would be to see an immunologist who is specialized in this field. I don't know if you get any therapy, but when the disease is diagnosed, than intravenous gamma globulin is the standard treatment which is given in high doses. Treatment must be started right away to prevent damage to the coronary arteries and heart. Since you developed heart problems, you obviously didn't react on the therapy or didn't get any.
Some research suggests that adding steroids or TNF inhibitors such as Enbrel to the treatment routine may help. So try to find the nearest immunologist who will help you with the best therapy.
