hello my daughter was given 3-6 months to live she has fibramatosis aggressive, some attached to her lung , ribs pressing onto her lungs and a bent windpipe from operations. She is on a ventilator all night some of day but some days seems fine, cant walk far breathing is hard without ventilation. The prognosis looks bad sir as the ventilator requirement is constant. She cant walk as you say and the ribs are pressing onto the lungs.
A good prognostic marker would be her saturation and the oxygen content checked by areterial blood gases. If the co2 is high then the prognosis becomes more grave
I am really sorry as i cant help much from here
