Hello,
thanks for using health care magic.
It is likely that you are suffering from plantar fasciosis.
Plantar fasciosis is a degenerative condition of the plantar
fascia and it occurs in people at least at some point in
time in their lives.
Plantar fasciosis commonly occurs in people who have flat
feet or feet with high arches, and it most commonly causes
pain at the heel.
The pain you have described could as well be due to
other conditions such as an
osteoarthritis or gouty
arthritis which your doctor should rule out.
An x-ray, fasting blood sugar, uricemia etc are possible
tests that could help to established the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, you should rest the leg frequently, avoid
stretching the foot or bending, finding the right shoe to
wear is very important in management of Plantar fasciosis;
shoes that allow your feet to be in their natural position
that is, possess a flat heel, are wide in the toe box, lack
toe spring, are most appropriate for this foot problem.
Hope this helps you.
