Had Surgery For Trigger Finger. Having Bump On Palm Causing Pain. What Could It Be?

Hi my name is Ivette.. im a type 1 diabetic... I had surgery for trigger finger in my left hand on july 30th 2013.. im going to therapy, but my trigger finger was first on my ring finger then when i went to do the surgery my middle finger was trigger too... what im trying to find out is i have 2 cuts on my palm... but for some reason in between the 2 cuts there is a dime size bump that hurts so much and my middle finger is still a little bent... yes the bump is red.. The therapy lady told me is not infected but in my opinion something is going on but it just hurts so much.. the stiches supposed to be coming off on the 12th and im praying that i can see the doctor too. I just dont know what to do with this pain that i still have.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
As you are diabetic, you should remain alert for having any infection as it spreads surrounding area very quickly.
And having infection in hand and foot requires urgent attention to prevent complications like gangrene etc.
Consult diabetic foot surgeon and get examined.
Keep diabetes under strict control.
Ok and take care.
