might be a shift in blood pressure

doctor1 MD

the top number is your systolic blood pressure and and the lower number is your diastolic blood pressure systolic blood pressure must be below 140 and the diastolic blood pressure must be below 90 on repeated measurements. if it is above you have to have a salt restricted diet with anti hypertensive medication to control it. hope this explains

doctor1 MD

Thanks for contacting HCM. Your blood pressure is slightly elevated but it is not in a dangerous range. I recommend that you start with a low salt diet and exercise regularly. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as they can cause BP to elevate. If you develop chest pain or weakness on one side of your body or the other then I recommend you seek medical attention.
