General & Family Physician Dr. Fatima Farhana's  Response
you didn't mention your age.have you got an attack of flu like symptoms or jaundice in the recent past or having nasal vioce?if yes, this may be due to transient palatal palsy because vericella zoster infection and hepatitis virus have high predilection for brain and nervous is usually resolve within 6-8 weeks.but this palatal palsy may be the early menifestation of neurolocal diseases which will be florid later on .so consult with a neurologist and get a thorouh neurological examination.
