What Causes Numbness And Coldness In Penis

My sixteen year old son came to me complaining a feeling of numbness/coldness in his penis. It is under the foreskin, and he said that there is a vein that is protruding out in a way that feels uncomfortable to him. Is this anything to be concerned about?

I can understand your concerns about your son.

As far as the vein is concerned don't worry about that. It is normal central dorsal vein of the penis and is not a clinical concern.


Yes numbness,Coldness may be an issue due to infection/allergic reaction on the glans penis or in the foreskin.

So please take him to a Physician for in office consultation and diagnosis of the cause. He will treat accordingly.
