What Are The Possible Treatments For Needle Like Pain In Stomach ?
I know someone who just came back from columbia a little bit ago and is having really bad stomach pains. Needle like pains. He did not get any shots before going to that country. The has gone to drs and and they cant figure it out or told him they dont deal with parasites. Any suggestions of something i can tell him?

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having somechronic GI infection giving rise this problem.
Go for stool test for bacterial or amebic infection.
He can take one course of Ofloxacilin, tinidazole combination tablet for 3-5 days.
For temporary relief from pain he may take antispasmodic tablet like Dicyclomine as and when required.
Take light diet.
Ok and take care.
