Suggest An Alternative For Pioglit 15

I am a diabetic for about 10 years. My blood sugar level were about 200 post prandial when my doctor prescribed Pioglit 15 along with Gemer Forte2. I am all right but I have put on 2 kgs weight since I have started taking Pioglit 15. Hi,

Sitagliptin or Exenatide. Weight gain due to salt and water retention is an important and common side effect of anti-diabetic medicine Pioglit. I would advise you to start an alternate effective like Sitagliptin or Exenatide which are less likely to cause weight gain after consulting your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
