patch of dry skin which is the shape and size of a nickel I have one patch of dry skin which is the shape and size of a nickel on my butt. It s red with white flaky skin. it doesn t itch but i ve had it for three months now and it hasn t changed in appearance.

Sounds like tenia corporis, a kind of fungal infection. But for a confirm diagnosis & treatment you need to see a dermatologist or visit a homeopath.

which country are you from> if you are from the subcontinent or africa or gulf, and if the sensations over the patch is altered, then i suspect leprosy. visit a dermatologist immediately for an accurate diagnosis. tinea corporis is unlikely if the lesion is not itchy or it has not changed for the last three months.
